Hey there everyone, and let me lead off with a quick apology. If you were coming here expecting another environment-slanted blog, I\u2019m sorry to disappoint you! I\u2019m switching gears a little bit, but don\u2019t worry it\u2019s only for this month!<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be back next month with some funs ways to reduce your own environmental footprint (hint: the recent buzzword, upcycling<\/i><\/b>).<\/p>\n

For this month though, I wanted to share a new project that I\u2019ve been working on for the past couple of months. I didn’t know what to expect going into the course, but as with every single project and course I\u2019ve done on Fruitful English, it\u2019s been tons of fun!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
If you don\u2019t know, I\u2019m talking about a new website that a group of Fruitful English students are opening now. It\u2019s called \u2018Ask Japanese\u2019. I could give you my own description of the course, but one of my wonderful students can do it better than me. Here\u2019s a short description by one of the project managers of the course:<\/p>\n
\nWe are launching a new website called “Ask Japanese” this summer! The website is focused on answering questions about Japan from foreigners in English. Please visit the website and ask something about Japan in English, or share it with friends!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
In short, a group of students are learning English by running a website<\/b>! Fruitful English has started a website which allows users to submit questions about Japan: then, the project members can answer the questions in English.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Of course, there\u2019s a lot <\/b>to running a website, aside from simply answering questions from the users. So, our students have been doing all sorts of projects, from promoting the website in English, to thinking about the design of the website, and sending business proposals to Fruitful English management. It\u2019s been a great learning experience for everyone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While we are branded as \u2018AskJapanese.com\u2019, we don\u2019t actually own that domain. So, we might have a new website soon. That\u2019s one of our student\u2019s business proposals! As you can see, the students are tackling a wide range of topics. So, come check out our site and let us know what you think.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
