This year has been quite unique in the sense that we have been homebound and have not been able to go out as much as we would like to as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. However, this time last year, I went to a beautiful country in Eastern Europe called Montenegro and had a splendid time exploring the wonderful country. I will always cherish the memories I made there. I will write about my trip to Montenegro in this article. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u6771\u30e8\u30fc\u30ed\u30c3\u30d1\u306e\u30d0\u30eb\u30ab\u30f3\u534a\u5cf6\u306b\u4f4d\u7f6e\u3059\u308b\u30e2\u30f3\u30c6\u30cd\u30b0\u30ed<\/h2>\n

Let’s get to know a bit about Montenegro first. This country is situated in south-eastern Europe. To the south-west, it has a coast on the Adriatic Sea. It is bordered by Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, and Albania. The capital city of Montenegro is Podgorica. <\/span><\/p>\n

The first few days in Montenegro, we stayed at a hotel in Kotor, which is a coastal town of\u00a0 <\/span>the country. It is situated in an isolated part of the Gulf of Kotor. The old town of Kotor is an enchanting town filled with beautiful architecture and history. It consists of many fortifications built during the Venetian period. Kotor has a big population of cats which has become a symbol of the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30e2\u30f3\u30c6\u30cd\u30b0\u30ed\u306e\u7d76\u666f\u30b9\u30dd\u30c3\u30c8\u30b8\u30e3\u30ba\u30d3\u30fc\u30c1\u3078\uff01<\/h2>\n

We also visited some wonderful beaches in the country. I will never forget Jaz Beach. It is one of the liveliest beaches in Montenegro. The beach is pebbly and is lined with many cafes and restaurants. You can try a range of water sports here such as windsurfing and waterskiing. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sveti Stefan is another interesting site in Montenegro that we went to. It is a former village situated on a tiny island which has since been converted into a luxury hotel and it is a holiday spot frequented by celebrities. It contains a public beach which provides ethereal views of the surrounding landscape. <\/span><\/p>\n

We then moved on to Perast, another old town in the Bay of Kotor. Perast has a beautiful shore. There is also a magnificent church called St. Nicholas Church.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also went to Tvat which is a coastal town located in southwestern Montenegro situated in the Bay of Kotor. It is a popular tourist resort. There is a natural port called Kalimanj in the city. There is also a beautiful sandy beach at Plavi Horizonti.<\/p>\n

After a few days in Kotor and visiting the cities of Perast\u00a0 <\/span>and Tvat, we went to the mountains. We stayed in a hut among the lovely mountains in a place called Pluzine. We trekked in the mountains and saw some beautiful sceneries and landscapes.<\/span><\/p>\n

You must be wondering what the food of this country is like? Montenegrins like to eat a variety of meat and this is reflected in their diet. Their food ranges from seafood to heavy meaty dishes. Every region has its specialties. I really enjoyed having Njeguski Steak. This is a classic of the country. The steak is composed of a pork schnitzel filled with cheese and prosciutto. <\/span><\/p>\n

So, I hope you got a taste of this marvellous country! It is a well-kept secret as not many people are aware that there is such a beautiful country on this planet. The locals are amazingly friendly and welcoming and the weather is also pleasant. I would highly recommend you to check out this tiny and exotic country if you are in Eastern Europe!<\/span><\/p>\n
