Hey there everyone! It\u2019s me again, and welcome to summer!<\/p>\n
Are you as hot as I am now? Well, if you’re lucky enough to have air conditioning, you probably aren’t. I\u2019m living in an old, old, old house though, so I don\u2019t have air conditioning.<\/p>\n
I used to say I enjoy hot weather, and summer, but these days, even I have my limits.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m sure there\u2019s more than 1 factor at play as well, though I wish I could ignore both of them. Chiefly, it\u2019s impossible to ignore the effects of anthropogenic climate change.<\/p>\n
If you\u2019ve never heard the term \u2018anthropogenic\u2019<\/strong>, it\u2019s a fancy adjective describing \u2018something caused by human activities\u2019<\/strong>. In this case, we\u2019re referring to the release of greenhouse gasses by humans, by driving, consuming animals, etc.<\/p>\n The other factor is, I hate to say it, my age! Though I wish I could deny aging, it\u2019s hard to ignore those grey hairs on my head, even with my declining eyesight to boot!<\/p>\n But, this post is not all doom and gloom! It\u2019s my favourite time of year as well. Not summer, but rather, it\u2019s the start of my Misconception Courses again. The first one starting will be Nic\u5148\u751f\u306e\u82f1\u8a9e<\/span>Misconception\u514b\u670d\u8b1b\u5ea7\uff1c\u57fa\u790e\u5358\u8a9e\u00b7\u6587\u6cd5\u7de8\uff1e<\/span><\/strong>. As the name suggests, this course is all about fundamental or basic words and grammar, parts of English that you use every day.<\/p>\n If that sounds simple, it is\u2026 Kind of! There are tons of common mistakes that people make every day, with fundamental words like \u2018go\u2019 and \u2018come\u2019, or \u2018learn\u2019 and \u2018know\u2019. Luckily, my course is all about these simple words.<\/p>\n However, if that sounds too easy, think again! This is a course for students that really want to master English. Even if you’re a master of English, or think you are, I guarantee you will learn a lot from this course.<\/p>\n And, since it\u2019s getting so hot these days, why not sit inside somewhere cool, with an ice coffee, and do some studying!
