It\u2019s me Nic, and thanks for reading another online musing from me.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s that time of year in Japan, especially for those of us down here in the south, when we all have to worry about mould, drying our laundry, and deciding what to do with all of our time inside!<\/p>\n
Luckily, there\u2019s so much going on at Fruitful English that I\u2019m sure you’ll have something fun to do. Normally, I don\u2019t like to write too much about work here, but I\u2019ve had a bit of time of in the beginning of the year, and I\u2019m taking a trip in July and August to visit Fruitful English\u2019s own Lisa\u5148\u751f<\/span>, teacher of our wonderful \u30c9\u30a4\u30c4\u8a9e\u8b1b\u5ea7<\/span>, so I\u2019ll be spending June doing one of my favourite things, if not my absolute favourite!<\/p>\n I\u2019ve recently started doing our <\/span>\u30b9\u30c6\u30c3\u30d7\u30a2\u30c3\u30d7\u82f1\u4f1a\u8a71 course, and it\u2019s been tons of fun meeting lots of new students. The course starts with an evaluation of the student\u2019s abilities, and I enjoy evaluating students, and checking their strengths and weaknesses. It\u2019s truly impressive to see just how good you all are!<\/p>\n I know that Japanese people around the country decry their general English ability. How many times have I heard something like, \u2018Japanese people aren’t good at English’ or \u2018It\u2019s hard for Japanese to learn English.\u2019 In my experience on Fruitful English at least, that couldn’t be further from the truth!<\/p>\n Of course, we\u2019re a bit biased on Fruitful English. Of course, the students here are super smart, because they\u2019re studying on Fruitful English! Still though, even students who have never studied before on Fruitful English still do well on the evaluation.<\/p>\n I think it\u2019s important not to be scared! It\u2019s a bit intimidating starting a new conversation course. You probably won\u2019t have confidence in your speaking, but the most important step in improving is starting<\/b>. It\u2019s a cliche, but starting is the hardest part. Once you take that step though, you’ll see your improvement right away, guaranteed!<\/p>\n Our \u30b9\u30c6\u30c3\u30d7\u30a2\u30c3\u30d7\u82f1\u4f1a\u8a71 course has a range of levels, and every lesson has a specific goal. So, it\u2019s not just \u2018free conversation\u2019. It\u2019s a complete system to improve.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve put in the effort to make the course efficient, so now you just need to do the most difficult part: start!<\/p>\n Come study with me!
