Have you ever said \u201cbye\u201d, \u201cthank you\u201d or \u201csee you\u201d and feel like there is just something missing or something more you could say?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You are definitely not alone because this is something I get asked a lot by English learners. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\u201d\u304a\u90aa\u9b54\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u201d\u3092\u82f1\u8a9e\u306b\u8a33\u3059\u3068\u3001\u3001\u3001<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Many of them feel like they should be saying something more or that they should be saying something to the effect of \u201csorry for intruding\u201d, which is the equivalent to the Japanese expression \u304a\u90aa\u9b54\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f. However, this is the exact opposite of what should be said! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">English speakers tend to favor phrases that have positive connotations to it. It leaves a pleasant impression on your listener!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u3010\u82f1\u8a9e\u3067\u6328\u62f6\uff01\u3011\u53cb\u9054\u306e\u5bb6\u306b\u62db\u5f85\u3055\u308c\u305f\u6642\u3001\u5e30\u308a\u969b\u306b\u4f7f\u3046\u30dd\u30b8\u30c6\u30a3\u30d6\u306a\u8868\u73fe\u2460<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">So when you are invited over to someone\u2019s place, one phrase you can always use when it is time to leave is:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThank you for having me.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u62db\u5f85\u3057\u3066\u304f\u308c\u3066\u3042\u308a\u304c\u3068\u3046\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is a phrase I use all the time as well. It is very natural and widely used. Your hosts will be very impressed when they hear it!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\u3010\u82f1\u8a9e\u3067\u6328\u62f6\uff01\u3011\u53cb\u9054\u306e\u5bb6\u306b\u62db\u5f85\u3055\u308c\u305f\u6642\u3001\u5e30\u308a\u969b\u306b\u4f7f\u3046\u30dd\u30b8\u30c6\u30a3\u30d6\u306a\u8868\u73fe\u2461<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Another great way or alternative to just bidding farewell is to say something that makes your host feel good and appreciated. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For example, if they have made you dinner, you could mention:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe gnocchi you made was amazing! You have to teach me\/give me the recipe for it one day!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u30cb\u30e7\u30c3\u30ad\u7f8e\u5473\u3057\u304b\u3063\u305f\uff01\u3044\u3064\u304b\u4f5c\u308a\u65b9\u3092\u6559\u3048\u3066\uff08\u30ec\u30b7\u30d4\u3092\u9001\u3063\u3066\uff09\u306d\uff01<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is also a great way to stay in touch because this would mean that you guys will be messaging or calling each other soon for the recipe! Maintaining relationships can be tough at times, but as long as you put in the effort, nothing is too hard!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I hope you found this useful and may it help take the stress out of house visitations for you.
