The English language originated in England and with the migration of English people to America, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, the language spread across many countries. British-ruled countries developed their own kinds of English. Similarly, Indian English also developed during the British rule with the strong influence of Indian languages on English. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In formal Indian situations, when meeting somebody for the first time, people may ask, <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>&#8220;May I have your good name?&#8221;<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is a typical example of Indian English. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\u30a4\u30f3\u30c9\u3067\u3088\u304f\u4f7f\u308f\u308c\u308b\u7279\u6709\u306e\u82f1\u8a9e\u8868\u73fe\u3068\u306f\uff1f<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Here are some more interesting examples of Indian English!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Doubt<\/strong> &#8211; meaning &#8216;question&#8217; &#8211; &#8220;Do you have any doubts about today&#8217;s lecture?&#8221; or &#8220;I have some doubts regarding this assignment&#8221;. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Revert<\/strong> &#8211; meaning &#8216;reply&#8217; &#8211; &#8220;Please revert to my email as soon as possible&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Do the needful<\/strong> &#8211; meaning to take care of something &#8211; &#8220;Our client wants this matter to be addressed.
