Anyone out there thinking English is “too hard”?\u00a0 Are you feeling like “giving up”?\u00a0 Today, I want to cheer you on!\u00a0 Maybe encourage you a\u00a0little!<\/p>\n
I have a couple of tips for all of you studying English!\u00a0 These should help no mattter what level you are at!\u00a0 Remember: English can be as easy\u00a0as ABC!<\/p>\n
1.\u00a0 try Asking<\/span><\/span> questions<\/strong><\/p>\n There is one phrase you should memorize!\u00a0 It will make things so much easier and faster when trying to use your English!<\/p>\n Remember: “How do you say…..in English?”<\/p>\n You don’t alway have to look it up yourself!\u00a0 You don’t always need to know alternative words!\u00a0 Just ask the person you are talking with!\u00a0 It’s much faster than looking your question up, and actually helps you communicate more!\u00a0 You are asking in English; they are answering in English(sometimes a little of another language might jump out)!\u00a0 The important point here is that the conversation doesn’t stop!<\/p>\n 2.\u00a0 Begin<\/span><\/span> talking<\/strong><\/p>\n Speaking English is usually harder than reading and writing it!\u00a0 Start simple!\u00a0\u00a0You can just greet people!<\/p>\n “Hi!\u00a0 How\u00a0are you?”\u00a0 “I’m Beth.\u00a0 It’s nice to meet you!”<\/p>\n You are probably thinking “I can say this much…I can’t continue the conversation.”\u00a0 No problem!\u00a0 Beginning, or taking the first step is what\u00a0is important!\u00a0 If you\u00a0don’t understand what the other person is saying, just smile and say “I’m sorry I don’t understand.”\u00a0 Most native\u00a0English speakers are not going to judge you for not understanding something!\u00a0 Try to catch one or two words in their sentence!<\/p>\n 3.\u00a0 have Courage<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n This point actually supports the first two points!\u00a0 You need courage<\/span> to ask<\/span> questions, and you need courage<\/span> to begin<\/span> speaking!<\/p>\n The most courage<\/span> you will need, though, is to “make mistakes!”<\/p>\n Too many people are afraid of mistakes!\u00a0 If everyone spoke perfect English, we would not need to study it, would we?\u00a0 We almost always learn by our mistakes!\u00a0 Don’t worry whether your sentence is grammatically perfect!\u00a0 Just speak!\u00a0 I am happy when my students learn from their mistakes!\u00a0 I would rather a student try with mistakes than not try because they are worried about those mistakes!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I believe learning is a never ending process!\u00a0 I am a 100% native English speaker!\u00a0 I still learn new English all the time!\u00a0 Language is constantly evolving!\u00a0 Dictionaries are updated regularly!\u00a0 I am always surprised by new words or phrases that I haven’t heard of before!\u00a0 If I am learning new English all the time, then it is going to be natural for a non-native speaker to learn something new daily!\u00a0 Good luck!<\/p>\n As I mentioned in the title, “It’s as easy as ABC or 1-2-3”!\u00a0 These means it is really easy!\u00a0\u00a0 You can do it!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Why don’t you come give English a try with us at Fruitful English!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hi, guys!\u00a0 This is Beth!
