1) I was not able to find an appropriate word for the first sentence, as I thought "experience" was something different. They just had practices in the simulated world. 2) I always have difficulties in grammer: especially with articles and prepositions. I would appreciate your advice. |

This wasn't too bad. I addressed your first sentence briefly in the explanation part. As for articles, "the" is used when you are talking about something specific. "A" is used when you are talking about one of many or just one. For example, "I have a dog" is I have one dog. "Give me a red pen" means one red pen from among a number of red pens.
